This tent is a reproduction of a conical tent invented by American military officer Henry Hopkins Sibley in the middle of the 19th century. But these tents existed earlier. We found a picture of Soldiers of the Prussian Army camping at the Champs-Elysèes in Paris during the 1815 Campaign against Napoleon. Sibley tents were used as campaign tents until World War I. During the Civil War there produced and uses nearly 44,000 Sibley tents by the Union Army.
